About Us


Alma started as a pop-up concept by co-owners Ari Taymor and Ashleigh Parsons, eventually finding its home in downtown Los Angeles in the summer of 2012. Our menu is inspired by the landscape and terroir of Southern California, and the ingredients we use are sourced from local farmers and from Alma’s Flower Avenue garden in Venice, CA.


We offer a seasonal, 9-course tasting menu for $110, with an optional beverage pairing for $55. An a la carte menu is also offered nightly as well. As with our cuisine, Alma’s beer and wine lists consist of small producers that are farming organically and honing their craft using traditional methods.


Our menu changes often, based on what we are growing and what is available to us from local and regional producers. We invite you to join us in exploring the outstanding quality of game and produce that California has to offer.
